The Hanover Parent Child Community Program is an ECE run program open to all families with children ages 0-6. This program requires zero registration and is free of charge. In our Mitchell location we are set up in the hut behind the school.
To find out more about other times and locations visit the student services website under Pre-School Program.
Our aim is to provide a space for children and families to attend a group located in the school the children will be attending when they reach school age. We focus on creating a fun environment to learn and grow, trying something new and also meet someone new! There is time allotted for free play, snack (provided), crafts, songs and stories throughout the program. We encourage parents and guardians to engage in play and activities alongside their child(ren) and be an active member of our community group. Children learn and practice skills they’ll need for kindergarten such as counting, cutting, gluing, letter practice, pre-writing and writing skills as well as following instructions from the ECE, taking turns and sharing.
