Our school year has gotten off to a very busy start. Strong Connections continues to be a success with students getting to spend some one on one time with their teachers while doing some fun activities as part of their day. The weather cooperated for our Terry Fox walk and we were able to raise money for cancer research. MES Book Fair ran last week after a 3 year absence and it was great to see kids excited about buying books!! Thank you for your continued support.
Lastly we were able to honour and recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with an assembly and a moment of silence. It was meaningful to see so many wearing orange as a show of respect.
Looking forward to October as we get into our routines and continue to work toward helping all students reach their potential.
