Welcome Back! What a great start we have had at MES. It was so fun to see all of the smiling faces gathered in the gym at our first day of school assembly! As we begin the school year we are looking forward to the Strong Connections days on September 15th and 18th. Over these 2 days, homeroom teachers are able to meet one on one with each of their students to better consolidate their understanding of each child. During this time, teachers are able to collect first hand information about:
- Learning styles, strategies and student confidence
- Student interests
- Approaches to problem solving
- Attitudes toward school and learning
This provides teachers with the opportunity to better plan to meet the needs of each student early in the school year. Please look at parent portal to confirm the day which your child will attend school. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year!
